Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.</li><li> Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.<br><br></li></ul>Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.<br><br><strong>Additional Details<br><br></strong>BJC policy: Every other weekend required.<br><br>RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.<br><br>No medical marijuana cards accepted.<br><br><strong>Shift & Scheduling:</strong> Could work 1445-0315 as needed<br><br><strong>Unit Details:</strong> Beds: 26<br><br><strong>Types of Patients on Unit:</strong> Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics Weekend Coverage Every Other<br><br><strong>Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:</strong> - Patient Diagnoses: High geriatric population: 40% of our pt’s are over 60 High admission rate: 40% of our pt’s are admitted Primary Stroke Center for TPA- nurse mix the TPA Known as a top heart hospital: level 1 for STEMI No trauma certification but care for Level 3’s ESI Acuity level medium % for level 1 & 2’s is 23% of total population ESI 4’s 6% & rarely see a ESI 5 COVID - Special Procedures/Unit Details: moderate sedation, chest tubes, intubations, Central lines, Defib/pacing<br><br><strong>Preferred Skills/Experience:</strong> Community Hospital Exp Preferred Triage and Vents Preferred<br><br><strong>Required Skills/Experience:</strong> Conscious Sedation Required<br><br><strong>Types of Patients on Unit:</strong> - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics<br><br><strong>Special Requests:</strong> RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. No RTO the first week of an assignment<br><br><strong>Required Credentials:</strong> Background Policy to be noted prior to submission Cert: NIH only accepted through AHA, Apex, or NIHSS websites Cert: AHA PALS RQI is acceptable<br><br><strong>Previous Employment Requirements:</strong> Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler. All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period.
