Varied start times typically between 0545 and 0830. No call, no weekends, no holidays. We have 3 “shifts” Opener, Mid and Late (we also have a back up late). This individual would rotate through these shifts. - Early typically comes in at 0545. - Mid can be flexed from opening to closing shift based on surgery schedules (0545-0830 typically but we try to keep it closer to 0700). - Late typically come in 0800 or 0830 again depending on surgery schedules they may need to be flexed in earlier or later. </font></p><p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman"><b>Job Summary:</b></font></font></p><p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman">Provides direct and indirect nursing care by utilizing the nursing process, determining the objectives of nursing care within the framework of the physician's plan of medical care, the patient's needs, standards of nursing practice, legal regulations and ambulatory surgery center policies and procedures. He/she will perform other related duties as needed to maintain department cost containment, efficiency, as well as quality of performance. Other duties as assigned.</font></font></p><p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman"><b>EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:</b></font></font></p><p></p><p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman">A minimum of one to two years in Med/Surg, ambulatory surgery, PACU, or OR nursing is preferred.</font></font></p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman"><b>EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: </b></font></font><p></p><p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman">Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a minimum of two years education at an accredited School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.</font></font></p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman"><b>LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: </b></font></font><p></p><p><font face="Times New Roman"><font face="Times New Roman">Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required upon hire.
