<strong>Description<br><br></strong>As a Warehouse Associates with Colony Hardware, you will begin the journey of bringing customer orders to life. To do this you will utilize your willingness to produce high quality, detailed and accurate work to ensure the mission to provide excellent customer service is completed.<br><br>2nd Shift hours 1:30pm-10pm, Monday through Friday.<br><br>10% shift differential<br><br><strong>A Little About Your Day<br><br></strong><ul><li>From day to day, you will handle all incoming merchandise by receiving, examining, sorting, organizing, and labeling them with appropriate stock and inventory control codes. </li><li>You will send all picked orders to the packing department after verifying all items are free of defects or damage, and then move the completed orders to appropriate shipment locations. </li><li>Operating with a strong attention to detail, you will perform scheduled cycle counts of product for inventory and enter all data manually to ensure all information is updated. </li><li>To maximize accuracy, you will unpack items to be stocked on shelves and load trucks with packed orders following a set of specific instructions and/or procedures in an organized and specified sequence. <br><br></li></ul><strong>This Might Be The Opportunity For You If<br><br></strong><ul><li>It’s important to you to have a career where there is a lot of variety in your day </li><li>You love being on your feet, thinking on your feet, and working in a stable work environment. </li><li>You are results-driven, and able to follow directions, guidelines and procedures. </li><li>You pay attention to details to ensure accuracy. </li><li>Doing your work right is as important as doing it with a sense of urgency. </li><li>You enjoy working independently as part of a highly successful, goal oriented team. </li><li>Your curiosity drives you to look for better, more efficient ways of doing things. <br><br></li></ul><strong>What You’ll Need For Success<br><br></strong><ul><li>A minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving or packaging environment </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. </li><li>Ability to work on your feet and perform physical work </li><li>Experience working with RF Scanners </li><li>Ability to navigate computer applications and websites </li><li>Prior experience operating one of the following: Sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, cherry picker, or pallet jack. <br><br></li></ul><strong>We Can Offer You<br><br></strong>Colony Hardware provides a performance based culture where all employees are rewarded for achievement of both personal and company goals.
