Reporting to the Executive Director of HR & Operations, you will have both guidance and partnership while also enjoying the autonomy to lead day-to-day HR functions and drive initiatives that make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding – Manage full-cycle hiring and deliver a welcoming, organized onboarding experience.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement – Serve as a trusted resource for associates, supporting a positive and inclusive workplace; assist with addressing workplace concerns in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Performance & Development – Support leaders with performance management tools and conversations and identify opportunities for associate growth.
  • Training – Design, coordinate, and track training opportunities that strengthen associate skills and support career development.
  • Policies & Compliance – Maintain and update HR policies and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Benefits Administration – Oversee associate benefits, leave processes, and serve as a point of contact for associate questions.
  • Payroll Support – Assist with payroll processes in partnership with Executive Director of HR & Operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Internal Communications – Draft and share company-wide updates such as scheduling communications, event reminders, and organizational announcements.
  • Internal Events & Culture – Plan and coordinate associate engagement events, recognition programs, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Community Partnerships & Engagement – Support and strengthen relationships with local organizations to enhance associate volunteer opportunities and outreach.
  • Investigations & Resolution – Assist in reviewing and addressing associate concerns or conflicts with discretion, fairness, and professionalism.
  • Projects & Initiatives – Partner with leadership on organizational projects, process improvements, and culture initiatives.
  • Leadership Partnership – Work closely with the Executive Director of HR & Operations and leadership team to align HR strategies with business needs.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience, ideally in a small to mid-sized organization, preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share information clearly across the organization.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
