Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team in a fast-paced, fine dining restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive atmosphere for both staff and guests. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in food service management.

Duties

  • Assist in the development and execution of innovative menu items that align with the restaurant's vision.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimizing waste.
  • Oversee shift management, ensuring that all stations are adequately staffed and prepared for service.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning and special events, contributing creative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health regulations at all times.
