Located in the heart of OTR, Colette is a new concept bringing our love of french food to the neighborhood.
We are looking for a sous chef to join our team. The ideal candidate is a seasoned chef with a background in fine dining, but experience is not necessary if you are willing to learn.
You will run an efficient kitchen by consistently looking to improve the menu, producing quality food, and working closely with restaurant managers in the overall food and beverage operations of the restaurant.
A passion for BOH operations, training, costing and organization is a plus in this role.
The role will require you maintain inventory systems, keep updated costing via Margin Edge, monitor BOH labor, and be able to efficiently report these numbers weekly.

* Supervise the production of food at all stations, assisting the cooks when needed
* Support the Chef in maintaining a smooth and efficient service
* Order and Inspect for quality all food items necessary for the production of the finished menu items
* Maintain kitchen equipment following food & safety/restaurant standards of cleanliness and organization
* Track food costs as requested
* Ensure that employees keep waste to a minimum
* Recognize the importance of employee morale and lead by example
* Knowledge of Margin Edge is a plus
