<strong>🌟 We're Hiring: Material Handler/Receiver! 🌟<br><br></strong>A chemicals/manufacturing client is looking for a Material Handler/Receiver that will perform<br><br>all material receiving for the company: pull lot numbers, check purchase orders, confirm<br><br>quantities, etc., for all production and non-production items.<br><br><strong>LOCATION:</strong> Plumsteadville, PA<br><br><strong>POSITION:</strong> Material Handler/Receiver<br><br><strong>CONTRACT: </strong>4 months or longer<br><br><strong>PAY RATE:</strong> $21/hr.<br><br><strong>SHIFT: </strong>1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, OT possible<br><br><strong><em>MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE FORKLIFT CERTIFICATION AND WILLING TO PROVIDE BEFORE SUBMISSION.<br><br></em></strong><strong>What You'll Do<br><br></strong>∙Perform all material receiving for the company: pull lot numbers, check purchase orders,<br><br>confirm quantities, etc., for all production and non-production items.<br><br>∙Verify accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips, noting any<br><br>discrepancies or damage.<br><br>∙Back up Purchasing & Inventory Technician by receiving incoming materials in SAP<br><br>∙Ensure the raw material storage areas (including Building 1, cylinder docks and outside<br><br>storage areas at Building 3) are well organized and neat.<br><br>∙Remove approved raw materials from the Incoming Quarantine Area and place them in<br><br>the warehouse in the designated areas. Update location in SAP if needed.<br><br>∙Transport materials between storage areas in Building 1, Building 3, & storage trailers.<br><br>∙Maintain adequate supply of materials in designated locations for Production personnel to<br><br>easily access and use<br><br>∙Assist with maintaining appropriate raw material and finished goods inventory levels and<br><br>∙inventory accuracy such that there is no production down time due to lack of materials.<br><br>∙Assist with Inventory-Count items, perform recounts, check issues and receipts in SAP in<br><br>order to resolve problems quickly and independently.<br><br>∙Keep stock storage areas neat and organized<br><br>∙Operate forklift in a safe manner<br><br>∙Complete tasks as directed by supervisor<br><br>∙Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment.<br><br>∙Complete all training activities successfully and on time.<br><br><strong>Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise<br><br></strong>∙Knowledge of inventory control systems required.<br><br>∙Ability to lift 50 lbs.<br><br>∙Steel-toed shoes required.<br><br><strong>∙Active Forklift Experience And Certification Required.<br><br></strong>∙Familiarity with Hazardous materials is desirable<br><br>∙Attention to detail<br><br>∙Good communication skills<br><br>∙Ability to work independently required<br><br><strong>Educational Requirements<br><br></strong>∙High School diploma required<br><br><em><strong>Ready to make an impact? 🚀 Apply now and let's grow together!</strong></em>
