**Salary:** $15.50-$16.50 ($2,500 sign on bonus)

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team at Addington Place of Sparta. The ideal candidate will have a love for food, creativity in the kitchen, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food preparation is done in a safe and sanitary manner in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in the development and testing of new recipes and menu items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Comply with health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Support the kitchen team in other tasks as needed, including plating, garnishing, and serving dishes.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Capability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [Specify Weight] pounds).
