Responsibilities

  • Achieve projected food cost percentages through security and waste control
  • Control labor through effective scheduling
  • Oversee kitchen supplies and uniform costs
  • Ensure all food products meet company standards
  • Handle staffing responsibilities including hiring and training
  • Develop Sous Chefs and other kitchen staff members
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Perform administrative duties like invoice approval and inventory taking
  • Maintain equipment and cleanliness standards
  • Enforce company policies and promote customer care
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years in a Chef role in a fine-dining, full-service restaurant
  • Relevant experience or training in culinary arts
  • At least two years of culinary managerial experience
  • Experience in high-volume sales exceeding $10 million preferred
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Current Washington State Food Handler’s card required

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Relevant degree or certification in culinary arts preferred
