We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Chef/Line cook to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in our kitchen and aiding in the setup and take-down of our farmer's market stand. If you have a passion for food and a knack for cooking, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, ensuring high quality and consistency.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring freshness and sanitation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  • Help with the setup and take-down of our farmers market stand.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and other team members to meet demand and provide a great experience for customers.
  • Assist in inventory and storage organization.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Chef, Line Cook, Prep Cook, or similar role in a food establishment.
  • Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts during Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays
  • Physically able to stand for long periods, perform heavy lifting, and work in varying weather conditions for outdoor farmers market stands

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
