This hands-on role is responsible for safely and accurately unloading, inspecting, storing, sorting, and loading large bundles of natural stone and quartz slabs. Associates will operate forklifts (5,000�15,500 lb capacity) and overhead cranes to handle heavy materials and will use tablets, scanners, and ERP tools for processing inventory transactions./p pSuccess in this position requires a high level of attention to detail, commitment to safety, physical stamina, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The work is physically demanding and/p p /p pstrongKey Responsibilities/strong/p pstrongMaterial Handling/strong/p ul liSafely operate 5,000 lb forklifts with clamp attachments to unload inbound containers./li liOperate 15,500 lb forklifts and overhead cranes to store, move, and load bundles of stone and quartz slabs./li liUse saws, crowbars, and other power tools to remove dunnage, braces, and blocking materials during unloading./li liSecure bundles properly on outbound flatbed trucks according to company safety standards./li liSort and stage material for customer viewing and outbound loading./li liConduct all material handling operations with speed and efficiency, but also safely without harm or damage to self, team, or material/li /ul pstrongInventory Quality Control/strong/p ul liScan materials using tablets and scanners to ensure ERP accuracy for inbound, outbound, and transfer transactions./li liInspect slabs for damage, correct labeling, and dimensional accuracy during unloading and staging./li liAssist with periodic cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliations./li liReport quality issues, damages, or discrepancies to the Distribution Center Manager immediately./li /ul pstrongSafety Facility Maintenance/strong/p ul liFollow all company safety standards and SOPs including PPE usage, forklift protocols, and loading procedures.
