Full Job Description

Earn extra income this tax season as an Independent Contractor on the Agents Only Platform. We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to deliver outstanding customer service for our tax-related products and services.

This fully remote role gives you the flexibility to create a schedule, while providing essential support during the busiest time of the year. With a pay-per-performance model, agents earn an average of $17 per hour, and top performers in the top 10% can make up to $22 per hour. Availability on Tax Day, Tuesday, April 15, 2024, is required to qualify for Tax Bonus and training incentives to ensure critical coverage during this peak period.

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be assisting customers via phone, helping them navigate their tax filing process, answering questions about our services, and providing general support.

We're looking for independent contractors with the following attributes:

  • Self-managed, take ownership of their learning and performance proactively self learning or asking for assistance when needed
  • Engaged User - Actively contribute to the success of the team by testing and providing feedback on world-class technology, embracing new tools and processes, and demonstrating adaptability to evolving systems.
  • Committed (Can deliver the required number of hours on a daily basis as committed.)
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills (Can build a professional relationship with my mentor and peers. Can share any observations, best practices, or issues experienced.)

Qualifications:

  • Reliability is the #1 priority: You must be dependable and consistent, especially during high-demand periods leading up to and after Tax Day.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to stay calm and collected when dealing with customers who may be experiencing stress.
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be able to commit to working during the tax season peak periods (February through April).
