Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 1 month.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Pennsylvania license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living 50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: Every weekend Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Holiday requirement: Every other, No on call

Required Skills/Experience: Experience with Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I Facility

Preferred Skills/Experience: Critical Care Float Pool experience

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics

Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission. RTO after submission will not be accepted.

Floating Requirements: To float to all Critical Care Units or to MS or Low Level Monitoring if needed. ICU ratio 1-2 or 3 and MS and LLM ratio up to 4.

Unit Details: There are 7 ICUs at LVHN Cedar Crest.

2K MICU/SICU: 32 bed medical-surgical ICU, 2KS: 12 bed medical-surgical ICU, OHU: 11 bed Open Heart Unit, surgical cardiac, CICU: 14 bed Cardiac ICU, medical cardiac, TNICU: 14 bed Trauma/Neuro ICU, NSICU: 14 bed Neuroscience ICU, Burn: 18 beds, mixed acuity

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required after submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required after submission
