<p>The salary range (or base pay) for this position is $176,700 - $193,800 however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.</p> <p><strong>Head of FIT, Associate Director</strong></p> <p>Wayfair is looking for an inspirational leader with a strong background in process improvement and lean principles to lead our Fulfillment Improvement Team. As head of FIT, this candidate will lead our center of excellence for process definition and optimization, building and driving a roadmap of process excellence across our global network of fulfillment centers. A strong background in operations management, stellar communication skills, and a passion for solving problems are a must. </p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead our central process definition and optimization team to drive widespread process compliance and continuous improvement across our global supply chain</li> <li>Define and communicate a 6-12 month roadmap to executive and field leadership, then deliver against those ambitious goals, helping drive upwards of $5M in cost savings</li> <li>Develop and support a metrics-based approach to measuring process compliance and efficiency, motivating solutions through a data-centric approach</li> <li>Identify opportunities through a combination of data driven analysis and observations to build consistency and scalability across our global network of FCs</li> <li>Build on our existing Warehouse Management System, while supporting the rollout of a new WMS and extensive automation initiatives by finding opportunities to define processes suitable to all scenarios</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with field leadership, partner teams, and executives to tear down roadblocks and keep the business moving forward</li> <li>Own Wayfair’s Lean Six Sigma training program, ensuring participants drive cost savings and improved quality outcomes for their sites and the broader supply chain</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Need</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required, Master’s degree preferred</li> <li>Lean Operations / Six Sigma black belt preferred</li> <li>Experience leading operations in an ecommerce fulfillment environment</li> <li>10+ years of experience in a fast paced consumer-focused organization</li> <li>7+ years of leadership experience</li> <li>Experience interfacing with Executive Leadership; developing relationships, objectively challenging, presenting, reporting, and consulting</li> <li>Ability to collaboratively partner across all levels and functions throughout the organization to assess talent development needs, build long-term strategies, and recommend viable design solutions</li> <li>Proven experience developing global data-driven processes</li> <li>Articulate, persuasive communicator across multiple organizational levels</li> <li>Ability to evaluate data to illustrate meaningful performance trends and identify opportunity areas </li> <li>Critical thinking and creative problem solving skills and flexibility to adjust to frequent changes in priorities and schedules to accommodate business needs</li> <li>Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast moving environment with certain level of ambiguity</li> </ul> <p>The exact location is flexible as long as you are willing to be on-site daily in a Castlegate Distribution Centers in the following locations:</p> <ul> <li>California: Perris or Lathrop</li> <li>Georgia: McDonough</li> <li>Florida: Jacksonville</li> <li>Illinois: Romeoville</li> <li>New Jersey: Cranbury</li> <li>Texas: Lancaster</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong data-stringify-type="bold">About Wayfair Inc.</strong></p> <p>Wayfair is one of the world’s largest online destinations for the home.
