About the Role:

We are looking for highly accomplished individuals with a strong background in performing clinical skills such as medical administration, venipuncture, and taking vitals in real-world healthcare settings to support our Clinical Medical Assistant program as graders and teaching assistants. In this role, you will review and grade student submissions, provide meaningful feedback, and collaborate with our instructional team to support student success. This is a fully remote, contract position with flexible hours.

This is an output-based, assignment-driven role. Work will be assigned based on need and availability, and there is no set schedule or guaranteed hours.

Evening and weekend availability is preferred.

What You'll Do:

  • Review and grade student videos performing clinical skills

  • Provide clear feedback to students

  • Communicate with instructors and students over email and other community tools

  • Join weekly meetings to receive guidance and direction from the internal team at Stepful

This Job is for You if You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience performing clinical skills in a healthcare setting (medical administration, venipuncture, and vitals)

  • 3+ years of experience teaching and/or grading medical assistants

  • Availability to work 20-40 hours per week

  • A passion for education and supporting student growth

  • A commitment to timely, thorough, and empathetic communication

Bonus Points If:

  • You've worked as a Certified Medical Assistant, Physician, or Nurse

  • You've taught in a digital or hybrid learning environment (Zoom, Canvas, etc.)
