CNA/HHA/Direct Support Professional
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide enhanced support services for a young adult with intellectual and medical disabilities in our private home. Care would be provided with 2:1 partnership with nurses and family members, working together.

Experience Requirements: Experience and nursing assistant/home health skills preferred. Willing to train the right person if open to learning and committed to the role.

Experience with alternative communication/assistive technology a plus and experience with supporting individuals who do not express themselves verbally.

Schedule: Availability for this position: Day shifts, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Potential for 4:00 pm-9:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Weekends. Preferred schedule would be 4-5 days per week. We are willing to discuss what you are looking for and your availability. There is room in our scheduling for flexibility and working together on the hours and days through discussion. Different schedule options are possible with this role.

Duties include:

Assisting with ADLs
Personal Care/Hygiene
Safe transfers using hoyer lift
Working on individual goals, including communication
Supporting activities and assisting with choices
Working as a team
Documentation as required

Must Have:
Covid vaccination required. Background checks provided.

Preferred: *Home care skills *CPR/First Aid Certified *CNA, HHA, NADD Certification
