Production Worker

Mancan is working with a company in Holmesville seeking a general production worker. This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate based upon attitude, attendance, and performance. The pay is $15/hour with a $1.50/hour attendance incentive for working all scheduled hours during the week. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7 am - 3:30 pm.

As a general production worker, you will be placed in one of three areas: Assembly, CNC Operation, or Automatic Machine Operation. The primary responsibilities include ensuring the efficient and accurate production of parts while maintaining quality standards.

Assembly:
- Work quickly and with attention to detail to assemble components.
- Maintain organization of different sizes of parts and track progress on timesheets.
- Measure every part accurately and ensure assembly according to specifications.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production targets.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet quality standards.

CNC Operation:
- Safely operate CNC machines and load parts into the machine.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning.
- Perform necessary interventions such as flipping parts or adjusting programs.
- Use dial calipers and drawings to verify measurements and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor hydraulic and cutting oil levels, refilling as necessary.

Automatic Machine Operation:
- Operate automatic machines to produce parts efficiently.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
- Clean finished parts and remove any burrs using deburring tools.
- Conduct visual inspections and use go/no-go gauges to ensure quality.
- Measure parts periodically using dial calipers to ensure compliance with specifications.

Requirements:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Familiarity with using dial calipers and reading technical drawings is a plus.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects if required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
