Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain your machine.
  • Set up equipment and monitor basic tooling sharpness and quality.
  • Assist in general quality control and reports concerns to supervisors.
  • Perform routine maintenance and notify management of issues.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Assist in general production when needed
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude: prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with safety laws and regulations.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Consistently meet established production goals with accuracy & efficiency.
Environment and Physical Working Conditions:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift 25-75 lbs frequently.
  • Work also requires the ability to climb, reach, pull, stoop, crawl, and bend.
  • Exposure to fumes, odors, and loud noises-must wear safety gear, including eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes and a respirator when necessary.
