Business Logistics Solutions is a new, independent delivery service partner, serving Amazon Prime customers from Amazon's new facility at 6703 NW 7St St Miami, FL 33126. As a delivery associate (DA), you will deliver packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery locations. In this position, you will play a key role in keeping our commitment to exceed clients' expectations and make sure all the orders, large or small, are delivered on time at the right place. We are seeking mature, professional, responsible, eager, reliable and dependable driver associates (DA) who want to be a part of our customer focused, employee centric company, offering Part Time and seasonal positions. General Responsibilities:
  • Our Delivery Associates/Drivers drive a delivery van to drop off Amazon packages to customers within their community
  • You can plan on working about 2-3 days a week on a part time position (weekends and holidays included)
  • You can plan on a typical working day being 8 to 10 hours
  • Our drivers follow strict safety standards on and off the road
  • You interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
  • You use handheld technology to manage the delivery process and solve obstacles
  • Ensure delivery vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good operating condition at all times
  • May assist in training other team members and help coworkers

Work Environment:
  • Drives a delivery Amazon branded high roof van up to 10,000 pounds to many customer residences and businesses, climbs in and out of van, and walks up and down stairs as required to deliver packages according to established procedures in all weather conditions
  • Flexibility is key; routes may vary and may be delayed due to traffic from on road congestion, construction or other factors
  • Set core schedule, but there may be adjustments including additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on time of the year, peak seasons and other factors

Basic Job Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid Florida driver's license in good standing (CDL not required)
  • US Work Authorization
  • High-School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to operate and navigate a large delivery van with a gross vehicle weight of 10,000 lbs. or less
  • Must be able to move, lift or push boxes up to 70 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 12 hours long
  • Are physically fit and capable of getting in and out of van every few minutes (up to 100 to 2000 times/day) to deliver up to 350 packages/day
  • Capable of moving up and down stairs
  • Must have the ability to effectively operate a GPS

Preferred Job requirements:
  • Prior professional driving experience
  • Proven track record of reliability
  • Excellent attention to detail with skill set to problem solve independently
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment with an upbeat attitude
